On October 18th, 2016, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. At 27 years old, I never thought I would have to fight for my life as a newlywed and a new mother. After 16 rounds of IV and Interperitoneal Chemotherapy, my CT scan is clear of cancer. Now, I’m navigating life as a newlywed, a mother of a lively boy, a high school English teacher, and a friend. I hope to continue to work toward a non-profit to help young ovarian cancer survivors and thrivers through Teal45.
many many congrats from a fellow survivor (breast) — love the name of your blog
